Hyde Housing invites bidders for £2bn framework

Hyde Housing Association invite bids for £2bn housing framework.

Hyde Housing Association is inviting bidders to join its new £2bn housing framework, as it looks to build 11,000 new homes over the next five years.

The London-based group currently manages around 50,000 homes across the south east of England, and the firm’s new housing strategy aims to see least 50% of its development programme as housing for sale and private rent, to then reinvest in providing additional affordable homes.

The new framework is comprised of eight lots, including a modern methods of construction category. The largest value lot will be for projects over £25m, with regional lots covering Kent and the South, each split between projects of £5-£10m and over £10m.

Hyde anticipates building a range of mixed tenure homes over the next five years. The scope of works required will differ under each Call Off Contract, but the programme primarily covers new build residential works, with the possibility of some ancillary retail and commercial development.

Interested bidders have until 13 September 2019 to submit prequals.
