Pagabo and partners enter new parent organisation structure

Gerard Toplass, group chief executive officer at The 55 Group.

National framework provider Pagabo has entered a new parent organisational structure with other like-minded businesses in its home city of Hull.

The new parent organisation, The 55 Group, has been revealed to encompass leading cross-industry businesses - including Pagabo, risk management and compliance software company Sypro, social value specialists Social Profit Calculator, and digital-first training platform Tequ.

The businesses will soon be moving to a new home in Hull city centre, with senior figures saying the relocation marks the beginning of a new chapter in the evolution of the businesses involved.

Gerard Toplass, group chief executive officer at The 55 Group, said: “It’s an exciting time for everyone involved in the restructure as we begin building better together and harnessing the power of a collective strategy. Our mission at The 55 Group is to use technology and innovative thinking to establish a better, faster and greener approach to the built environment and beyond.”

The new structure has been implemented to provide a platform for growth and an opportunity for each of the individual business to work together – sharing knowledge, vision and expertise as they move forward.

Toplass continued: “The group has been formed on solid foundations, with each company already excelling in its own unique mission. But as a collective force we are underpinned by values including togetherness, innovation, creativity and results. By joining forces, we can work together to challenge the status quo and introduce new technologies that make people’s lives easier, safer and greener.

“It’s an opportunity for us all to thrive. We’re looking forward to moving into our new home in Hull and to be ensuring flexible working allows all our staff to lead fulfilling personal and professional lives. The new facilities and workspaces blend creative and social environments to suit any task, which will allow us to combine our collective creativity and disruptive thinking that challenges the status quo in order to create a better future and get things done.”

“We believe this new direction will help our staff to access more opportunities and knowledge while being part of an organisation driven by helping create a better future for everyone.”
