Stantec appoints Mark Carlisle as operations director

Stantec have appointed Mark Carlisle, pictured, as new operations director to head up services and delivery for water and energy clients in Ireland.

Stantec has appointed Mark Carlisle as operations director for its Ireland water business in support of its advancing growth within the sector. He will be responsible for overall business performance and securing new opportunities with clients in the water and energy sector.

Carlisle has over 27 years’ experience in the water sector across UK and Ireland. Prior to joining Stantec, he was director of water with operational and commercial responsibility for WSP’s regulated water business in UK and Ireland.

His experience in the water sector encompasses delivering strategic planning, asset management, capital delivery and optimised operational water services to all the major UK and Ireland water companies and contracting partners. In conjunction with delivering river engineering, flooding and sustainable drainage programmes, supporting many UK local authorities and national agencies on transformational infrastructure schemes.
