JMP and SIAS successfully integrate with SYSTRA

Following SYSTRA’s successful acquisition of both JMP and SIAS earlier this year, its UK directors have announced that they are on track for a formal start to the new fully integrated SYSTRA business from 1 January 2017, when SIAS Ltd and JMP Consultants Ltd will cease trading.

Gordon Baker, outgoing chief executive of JMP, said he was pleased with the positive response of all JMP staff to life under the new SYSTRA entity and reassured JMP clients that all their projects will continue to be taken forward by existing delivery teams, augmented by wider capabilities from within SYSTRA where appropriate.

SIAS Director Bob Nicol said: “The integration with SYSTRA presents a great opportunity for our staff to continue to develop their expertise within a specialist transport consultancy.”

SYSTRA Group chief operating officer Andrew McNaughton said: “The UK is a key market for SYSTRA and in 2016 we have significantly increased the scale of our business and the breadth of expertise through the acquisition of JMP and SIAS. Our teams have worked closely during the year on establishing our wider service offer as well as increasing our footprint throughout the UK and beyond.”

SYSTRA has ambitious plans to double its turnover, profitability and workforce by 2018 and the company has identified the UK as a major growth market. Currently, SYSTRA has nearly 500 staff in the UK and 5,400 staff globally.
