Backing the best of UK infrastructure exports

Infrastructure Intelligence is pleased to announce that we are partnering with the British Expertise International Awards 2020.

British Expertise International is the UK’s leading membership organisation for UK-based companies exporting infrastructure services, with a particular focus on the dynamic and growing markets of Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and south east Europe.

The awards are the UK’s principle forum for celebrating the very best of UK infrastructure exports, and open to all UK-based professional services firms working internationally. Entries are welcome from all companies and for any individuals that feel they have made an outstanding contribution to the sector.

There is a total of 11 categories for 2020, which have been designed for a wide range of companies from large corporations to SMEs, working in all sectors covered by British Expertise International. The annual awards competition has been running for over 25 years and year on year has demonstrated just how much the industry has to celebrate. British expertise is an integral part in many of the world’s most important development and infrastructure projects, delivering world-beating quality and innovation in just about every corner of the globe.

CEO of British Expertise, Tom Cargill, commented: “Next year promises to be an important year for UK infrastructure exports. For over 50 years British Expertise International has brought together the UK’s leading infrastructure companies alongside government and the wider supply chain, supporting members in identifying and winning work in the world’s most dynamic and complex markets. I hope that you will join us and become a central part of this exciting and energetic programme, recognising and rewarding the very best organisations and individuals from within our industry.”

Infrastructure Intelligence editor Andy Walker said: “I’m delighted that we are working with British Expertise International to help promote these important awards to a wider audience. The work of UK construction and infrastructure firms on the global stage is crucial to improving the quality of life for citizens across many nations and we are proud to be able to give that work an even higher profile by being a media partner for these prestigious awards.”

The final entry deadline for the awards is 15 December, so companies still have time to enter. The independent judging panel will be chaired by BEI’s president HRH The Duke of Gloucester. The black-tie celebration dinner on 23 April 2020 will showcase many of the UK’s most successful and ambitious companies exporting infrastructure services.
