Amol Rajan to host ACE Awards

Presenter and broadcaster Amol Rajan

Presenter and broadcaster Amol Rajan is to host the Consultancy and Engineering Awards 2023.

The host of University Challenge, who also features on the Today Programme, will take to the stage at the glittering awards event, organised by the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE).

Winners of the 2023 awards will be announced at a gala event being held at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower Bridge on Thursday, January 18.

Final preparations are being made for the event – and tickets are available to purchase now

Rajan has also presented The One Show for BBC 1 and is a regular presenter on Radio 2, on both The Jeremy Vine Show and Drivetime.

Before joining the BBC, he was editor of The Independent.

When appointed to the role in 2013, aged 29, he was both the youngest ever editor of a British broadsheet title and the first non-white editor in Fleet Street history.

His regular TV appearances have included Question Time, Masterchef, Great British Menu, Newsnight, The Daily Politics, The Andrew Marr Show and Lorraine.

ACE announced the shortlist for its awards in November with entries received from across the industry.

The awards, which have been taking place for more than 30 years, aim to shine the spotlight on all that is good about the built environment sector.

The 2023 honours are taking place as ACE, the association for the UK’s professional consultancies and engineering companies operating in the social and economic infrastructure sectors, celebrates its 110th anniversary.

The winners of 11 category awards will be made on the night along with the coveted Lifetime Achievement honour.

To guarantee your seat at the glittering awards ceremony on January 18, book your place today. Ticket sales close at 5pm on Friday, January 5.  Click here for more details.
