Environment secretary Liz Truss to headline EIC conference

As the leading trade body for the environmental industries EIC has pulled together an impressive programme that will provide a unique opportunity to bring its members together with cross part political leaders, influential industry clients, environmental experts and the industry supply chain.

The event takes place five months out from the May 2015 General Election and the programme includes sessions from Labour and the Liberal Democrat parties who will share their views on their environmental agenda alongside that of the Conservative Liz Truss.

Topics covered on the day will include how environmental policies can drive the development of liveable cities and building a green economy. Findings from EIC’s upcoming “Smart cities and the environment” report will also be debated.

The conference is being supported by Pinsent Masons and held in the City of London. Cost to EIC members is £80 and to non members £160.
