Search is on to find the best UK consultancy firm

The search is on for the best UK built environment consultancy firm as the finishing line fast-approaches for entries for the Best UK Consultancy category in this year’s Consultancy and Engineering Awards.

Organisers of the awards, the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE), are looking to find the best UK consultancy in three different size categories – micro (less than 10 employees), small and medium (10-250 employees) and large (250+ employees).

For all size categories, the judges will be looking for ACE member firms that have achieved the most impressive performance during 2020. Shortlisted businesses will have demonstrated exceptional social, environmental and financial performance in difficult circumstances.

Entrants will need to outline their company’s overall financial performance in 2020 and also reference  performance over the prior three years and provide the number of UK based staff, turnover, profitability, and staff turnover figures. The judges will also be looking for evidence of a company’s key achievements in the 2020 calendar year, focusing on people (staff and wider stakeholders including society) and planet (environmental impact of the firm). This could include specific targets, measures and commitments that a firm has made as a business and/or the social value impact it has made.

Finally, firms entering the Best UK Consultancy category will be asked to highlight why 2020 was such a stand-out year and relate their achievements to past performance or wider industry norms.

With the deadline date for the awards now extended until Wednesday 14 July, companies have even more time to enter and to put themselves in the running to win one of these prestigious industry awards.
