Consultancy award to recognise value of advice given to clients

The Future of Consultancy Client Advisor of the Year award category in this year’s Consultancy and Engineering Awards offers consulting firms the opportunity to gain national recognition for their work in providing additional value to the clients that they work with.

The Client Advisor of the Year Award is awarded to a consultancy firm in the built environment for a value-adding approach to client advice. This could enhance traditional people-based expertise with data analytics and new technology across the entire lifecycle of an asset.

Entries for the award, which is part of the annual awards scheme run by the Association for Consultancy and Engineering, are now being invited and firms are being asked to outline a client commission, their role as a strategic advisor, how their approach differed from a typical project and then to highlight the impact of their work.

Entries should also share the positive impact that a consultancy has delivered through people-based expertise, data analytics and new technology, supported by qualitative or quantitative measures of success. Firms are also being asked to show what they are doing to develop, pivot and scale up their client offering for other clients.

The Consultancy and Engineering Awards are supported by headline sponsors Bentley Systems and Griffiths & Armour, while Arcadis and WSP in the UK are category sponsors. Once again, Infrastructure Intelligence is a media partner and its editor Andy Walker is a member of the judging panel.

This year there are ten awards and a simplified entry process which will be open until Sunday 4 July 2021 at 6pm. Entrants to last year’s awards have already been contacted to arrange for their entries to be transferred into this year’s competition.
