Mark Enzer move strengthens Mott MacDonald’s digital advisory offering

Mott MacDonald has appointed Mark Enzer to its digital advisory business in an executive advisory role. The move will support the business’s growth in helping clients tackle complex challenges by harnessing the transformational impact of data and digital.

Enzer will further cement Mott MacDonald’s place as a leading digital advisor to infrastructure asset owners, especially in the context of addressing the macro challenges of climate change, net zero and social outcomes. His expertise will support the company’s team in guiding clients through the complexities of digital transformation, allowing them to unlock additional value.

At the end of March, the Centre for Digital Built Britain, for which Enzer was director, completes its part of the work on the National Digital Twin programme. The DT Hub will also transition to a new home, where it can continue as a not-for-profit community working together to advance the digital twin agenda.

Realising the benefits that digital can deliver is a complex challenge and Mott MacDonald’s digital advisory services are helping clients to get the best out of innovation in information and technology across the asset lifecycle. The firm’s digital advisory business has been undergoing considerable growth and recently won the Future of Consultancy Client Advisor of the Year category at the Consultancy & Engineering Awards 2021. That success referenced Mott MacDonald’s value-adding approach for clients in the built environment.

Commenting on his new executive advisory role, Mark Enzer said: “It’s great to have the opportunity to support such an exciting team which is at the forefront of digital transformation, strengthening our place as a leading digital advisor to infrastructure clients. I’m looking forward to enabling our growth both in terms of opportunities and capabilities, and talking to our clients, building on our already strong relationships”.

Andy Moulds, head of advisory at Mott MacDonald, said: “Mark is joining the team as we continue in our quest to empower lasting industry transformation. We are proud of the exceptional digital advisory services we deliver to our clients, which is made possible because of the fantastic people we have in the team. Mark’s experience and expertise in digital is second to none and will further strengthen our people, enabling us to address client challenges in the best way possible.”
