New role for Jason Jones at Costain

Costain has appointed Jason Jones to its divisional leadership team.

A strategic consultancy firm for the built environment has made a key appoinmtent to its business winning function within the natural resources division.

Costain has appointed Jason Jones to the divisional leadership team, where he will work closely with the sector directors and key account directors to develop customer and industry relationships and grow new and existing business across energy, water and defence and nuclear.

With extensive experience across complex programme delivery, digital and consultancy, supplemented by insights from working globally with customers in a wide range of infrastructure sectors, Jason will be leading a function of multi-disciplinary teams across business development, bidding and marketing. 

Sam White, the firm's natural resources managing director, said: “I am delighted that Jason has moved into this role and his fresh perspective will help make the newly formed business winning function a success by building deeper relationships with our key customers and identifying new customers to develop long-term relationships with. 

"Closer collaboration between our customer teams and bidding capability will enhance our offering and position Costain at the heart of the changing infrastructure landscape.”

Jason said he joined Costain because it has the right combination of capability and expertise to support sustainable infrastructure across the UK. 

"I’m excited to take up a role where I get to engage with three strategic markets in which we have in-depth expertise, as well as encourage collaboration and cross-sector learning that will deliver better solutions for our customers,” he added.

Current water sector technical development director Gavin Stonard will take on Jason’s current role of water sector business development director, continuing to work with customers to drive innovation and develop services for the water market to deliver a positive impact for water customers, society and the environment.
