Key clients set to speak at ACE Future of Consultancy conference

A number of influential client organisations will be offering their take on the future of the construction industry and how the consultancy and engineering sector needs to adapt its approach to face up to change at a key London conference next month.

As part of its Future of Consultancy campaign, the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) is holding a special conference on Thursday 6 June 2019 to enable business leaders and clients in the engineering and consultancy worlds to come together to explore opportunities to drive business transformation and value through innovation.

Clients speaking at the event include Mark Hagger, commercial development manager at the Environment Agency, Heathrow expansion commercial director Emma-Jane Houghton and Beth West, head of development at Landsec. 

Representative from the Transforming Construction Alliance will look at the key steps and milestones the industry is likely to see in the next five to ten years and the visions and outcomes for modernising the sector. The conference will also discuss where business opportunities can be found for consultancy firms, both domestically and internationally, with representatives from the international funding sector likely to be particularly insightful.

ACE’s Future of Consultancy campaign aims to assist the consultancy and engineering sector to adapt to and welcome a new era of design and delivery in the built environment. A variety of research projects are in the pipeline as part of the campaign which will draw together the best of existing research into a workable and deliverable programme for consultancy businesses. Some of these projects will be highlighted at the conference.

Attendees at the conference can look forward to developing an awareness of, and capability for driving the successful evolution of their businesses. Delegates will also get to hear some ‘trade secrets’ from business leaders who are pushing change in their own organisations.

As part of the ticket rate, delegates at the conference also get a place at an ACE dinner on 20 June for attendees of the Future of Consultancy event and ACE’s Digital Leadership Conference, which will bring together business and digital leaders to discuss the changes needed to future proof the consultancy and engineering sector.
