Changes at Infrastructure Intelligence as new editor takes over

Infrastructure Intelligence reporter Rob O’Connor, pictured, to take over from Andy Walker as new editor from 13 May 2022.

After six years at Infrastructure Intelligence, Andy Walker is stepping down from his role as editor from 13 May 2022.

Current reporter Rob O’Connor will take over as editor, ensuring continuity in approach and a seamless transition. O’Connor, who has been writing for Infrastructure Intelligence for three years, has a strong 20-year track record of successful media experience. A new reporter will also shortly be appointed to ensure the editorial team retains its existing complement of staff.

Commenting on his new role, Rob O’Connor said: “I’m delighted to have this opportunity to build on Infrastructure Intelligence’s recent successes. Rest assured we will continue to do what we do best – profiling the construction and infrastructure sectors, encouraging industry debate and connecting the sector through our programme of events.

“I also have my own ideas to take things forward and improve how we serve our loyal readers and I’m looking forward to working collaboratively with ACE to implement some of these in the near future.”

Commenting on the changes, ACE CEO Stephen Marcos Jones, said: “I would like to thank Andy Walker for his contribution over the past six years and welcome Rob O’Connor as editor. Infrastructure Intelligence is a vital industry voice and I’m looking forward to bringing Rob and the ACE team together to see how we can build on its strong foundations to increase its reach and impact.”
