ACE Wales conference to focus on value-based delivery

The annual ACE Cymru|Wales Conference will focus on the key issue of value-based delivery and be hosted virtually on 10 November 2021.

Consultancy and engineering has a huge amount to offer in terms of technical skills, innovation and knowledge and this conference will share an upbeat message around harnessing this expertise to revolutionise how to plan and deliver a prosperous and green economy for future generations.

The Value-based Delivery event will provide a toolkit for shifting infrastructure delivery away from the lowest price by default, to realising value and as an example of best practice and inspiration will look to the automotive industry's response to the climate challenge and the re-engineering of its entire supply chain.

Hosted by Piers Burroughs, chair of ACE Cymru|Wales committee, the conference speakers will include Julian Hetherington (Advanced Propulsion Centre UK), Ellie Jenkins (Construction Innovation Hub), Sophie Howe (Office of the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales), Hannah Vickers (Mace) and Simon Shouler (ACE Cymru|Wales).

This conference takes place on Wednesday 10 November 2021 from 4.30-6.30pm. The event is open to any ACE member, no matter where they are based.
