New date for Consultancy and Engineering Awards

Consultancy and Engineering Awards rescheduled for Thursday 19 January 2023 following planned rail strikes on original date.

The keenly-anticipated Consultancy and Engineering Awards evening has been rescheduled due to planned nationwide rail strikes by the RMT on the original date of Thursday 3 November.

The Awards ceremony will now take place on Thursday 19 January 2023, in the same venue, the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square.

The awards, which return as an in-person ceremony following last year’s online event, celebrate the outstanding achievements of our industry and champion the best people, projects and companies from the world of engineering, consultancy and the built environment.

Ian Parker, group commercial director at ACE, said: “The disruption to the transport network leaves us with no option than to postpone. I hope all attendees will understand that this decision was not taken lightly and I’m looking forward to celebrating the best the industry has to offer with you on Thursday 19 January 2023.”

Rob O’Connor, Infrastructure Intelligence editor, said: “With the expected disruption on the national rail network and across London’s overground and underground on the original date of the awards, it makes perfect sense to reschedule to a new date. But it’s still the same fantastic venue, with a wonderful night in store to help beat those post-Christmas January blues. We can’t wait to see everyone there.”

All original tickets remain valid for the new date of Thursday 19 January, but anyone unable to attend the rearranged date can email mcoops@acenet.co.uk to transfer tickets to a colleague.

For those who missed out on the original window, tickets are still available, with discounts for ACE members and those who purchase a table.
