Scape Group creates two new teams to support rapid expansion

Public procurement specialists the Scape Group have created two new teams, which they claim will better support public bodies across the UK. 

A new relationship management team has been created to work directly with its 970 clients, providing support, training and advice at every stage of a project.

And a newly created group development team will enable more clients to work with Scape on a strategic basis, establishing long term models such as joint ventures and PMOs (programme management office). This team has been formed to support both public and private clients, to help realise the full potential of their capital programmes.

Scape say these new teams compliment the already existing framework management, performance and social value, procurement, audit and legal functions already operating across the group.

Alongside the new teams, Scape has also made a number of significant internal appointments.

Matt Carrington-Moore, formerly chief marketing officer, will now be taking on the role of chief strategy officer. The new role will see him apply strategic innovation in order to drive the business forward, leading on the group development, marketing and communications, ICT and transformation strategy.

The group development team is led by Mike Salter as group development director. Salter has more than 25 years’ experience in both the private and public sector delivering public services. Prior to securing this post, he held the role of head of regional business.

Adrian Hill has been appointed Scape’s new director of operations. He previously held the role of head of frameworks and, in his new role, will lead the operational activity for Scape Procure.
